Please register your child in the CORRECT AGE GROUP according to their DOB. All special requests need to be emailed to Shelley at dsberry@telus.net, BUT you still MUST register your child in the correct age group on the registration form. If your child is moved, you will be notified and will be responsible for any additional fees. Register by Sept 17th to avoid the $25 Late Fee.
Online payment: Select “Pay Online” and choose Credit Card OR PayPal.
Offline payment: Select “Pay Offline” and send the full e-transfer payment to: dsberry@telus.net with the password: soccer
Family Discount: If registering 3 or more children, you are entitled to a 10% discount.
KidSport and Jumpstart – complete & submit subsidy applications online first; click “KidSport or Jumpstart”. Please email your “confirmation email” from KidSport or Jumpstart to Shelley at dsberry@telus.net. Once you’ve submitted your subsidy application, complete your Vegreville soccer registration form, ensuring you check off KidSport or Jumpstart, and then select “pay offline”.

Indoor Season will run from Oct to the end of Feb. U5-U11 Practices/Games are once a week for 1 hour. U13+ Practices are once a week for 11/2 hours (depending on facility availability), and 1 game on the weekend in Sherwood Park. Tentative Schedule will be under the registration tab on our website when available, and times are TBD. U7-U11 Game Schedule will be provided after the first couple of weeks. Times TBD. U13+ Teams decide what Tournaments they enter and are responsible for those costs. All players U13+ need to provide a “head shot” to our Registrar, Shelley, at dsberry@telus.net for a Player Card that is required to play in the Sherwood Park League.
All Coaches need the appropriate coaches training for the age group they will be coaching. Vegreville Soccer requires all Coaching/Team Staff to provide a “Criminal Records Check”. The RCMP provides this service free of charge to volunteers. You need a letter from Vegreville Soccer, which will be provided to all “selected Coaches & Managers”. Your CPIC is good for 3 years with Vegreville Soccer. Please take your letter to the RCMP ASAP. The RCMP don’t contact you when it’s back, so please keep checking. When you pick it up, send a copy to the Registrar (Shelley Berry) at dsberry@telus.net. The hours for getting your CPIC done at the Vegreville Detachment are: 8:30-4:30 on Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Thursdays ONLY!
Our Indoor Season consists of “mixed teams” for U5-U11 and “gender specific teams” for U13+, if possible. We look at our registration numbers each season and form teams to the best of our ability. We need time to create the Teams, so please register by Sept 17th to avoid the $25 Late Fee, and to provide us sufficient time to finalize our Teams.
Vegreville Soccer does not ask for a “Volunteer Bond”, but we do ask that families participate in any fundraisers we run. We very much appreciate our Parents support, as it allows us to continue offering a quality Indoor Soccer Program for the youth in Vegreville & surrounding areas.
U5 & U7 registrations include a Tim Horton Jersey and ball. U9+ will be provided with a jersey to use and return at the end of the Indoor Season. NEW THIS SEASON: Due to Jerseys for U9+ not being returned, the fee for a lost or damaged jersey has been raised to $100.00. Jerseys MUST be returned by March 10th, or Parent will be charged. Other equipment required: Indoor soccer shoes/cleats (U5-U11 don’t need soccer cleats, but they do have better grip). U13+ must have Indoor soccer cleats or soccer shoes, as they play at Millennium Place in Sherwood Park. EVERYONE MUST have shin pads covered by soccer socks to participate in the Indoor program. Please continue with the “uniformed black shorts & black socks”.
A $25 Admin Fee will be withheld for ALL Withdrawals and Cancellations and NO REFUNDS will be issued after the first practice. Full Refunds will be provided if there is no Team for your child.
