VOLUNTEERING

A SUCCESSFUL PROGRAM DEPENDS ON THE SKILLS AND TALENTS OF VOLUNTEERS. AREAS WE NEED HELP WITH INCLUDE:

  • Coach, Assistant Coach and Team Manager
  • Executive Directors
  • Host family for a soccer coach with the British Soccer Camp
  • Planning and helping out at the British Soccer Camp
  • Selling raffle tickets
  • Helping out at bottle drives
  • Lending a hand to with field maintenance
  • If you would like to help out in any of these areas please get in touch with us.

CRIMINAL RECORD CHECKS OR CANADIAN POLICE INFORMATION CENTRE (CPIC) 

  • Checks are mandatory for Executive, Coaches, Assistant Coaches and Team Managers. 
  • The Vegreville Minor Soccer Association (VMSA) will provide a form which has the VMSA’s Voluntary Organization Authorization Number (VOAN) which indicates that the volunteer should not be charged.
  • When completed, please provide the Registrar with a copy of your completed Criminal Records Check by May 1st.
